HISTORY
Version 1.0 of Gamma Control came to light in year 2001 to fix the bad gamma curve of the screen when Mac OS X Public Beta. A second version to adjust independently each color channel was created in 2002.
Today, Gamma Control is used by designers and photographers to improve the reliability of the colors on their screen. Other professionals adopted it to match the screen color temperature with the lighting on film sets, for when a screen is put in front of the camera.
